The secret to getting good grades is taking good notes to study. I am going to tell you how I take good notes, now I am note going to say that this is the best way or the right way, this is just how I do my notes.
First, I use dots and lines to show were new things or subjects start.
Second thing is that you need to make sure that you can read your writing, your friends don't need to be able to read it, only you.
Third is that you should not doodle on your notes because that will just distract you when you are re-reading you.
Now I am going to tell you why note taking is important.
When taking notes you are being forced to listen to the lecture or the teacher talking and it keeps you from daydreaming, or talking to friends.
Also note taking can prepare you for a test, or for an essay if you need to write one.
